Duchess Kate: Ruby red coat by Armani

Knee-length, angora wool ruby red coat with a wide collar and fastened at the side by one big button. It is by Armani.


It is a nice coat with a nice colour but I am not a huge fan of it.

1- Kate Middleton wore it on 15th December 2006 when she was still Prince William’s girlfriend, to attend the Sovereign’s Parade at Sandhurst Military Academy.

2- The coat was worn again when the Duchess was pregnant with Prince George on 5th April 2013 at Ayrshire, Scotland.

Princess Diana, One Day One Dress: 7th November 1988, Paris, France

Victor Edelstein  created the gown that was Diana’s favorite. It is an oyster duchesse-satin dress with a bodice and bolero embroidered by Hurel with flowers and birds in simulated pearls, paste and beads in white, silver and gold.There is a tucked bustle-effect of the skirt at the back. She wore it at a banquet at the Elysee palace in Paris during her official visit with Prince Charles, November 7, 1988.

Duchess Kate: “Noa” black coat by Temperley

The “Noa” black coat with angular shoulders, a nipped in waist and a trapeze flare at the hem. Made of satin quilted in a geometrical pattern and a viscose mix herring bone. By Temperley.

I love this coat, it is so feminine, classy and flattering! I would love to own it.

1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore it on 10th November 2013 for Remembrance Sunday in London.

Princess Diana, One Day One Dress: 23rd March 1992, Peto Institute, Budapest, Hungary

The Princess of Wales visits the Peto Institute for Sick Children in Budapest, Hungary on 23rd March 1992. During this engagement she wears a bright blue collarless, elongated jacket with contrast braiding over a matching short pleated skirt.

Duchess Kate: Coral silk dress by Stella McCartney

Knee lengh coral coloured silk pleated pencil dress with a rose and bow detail on the high neck, a pleated panel at the front of the dress, long sleeves and a zip fastening at the back. It is by Stella McCartney.


I like the colour of this dress but it looks very fussy with too much detailing for that type of fabric.

1- Kate wore it on 13th June 2011 to attend Prince Philip’s 90th birthday meal, held at the three Michelin-starred restaurant The Waterside Inn, at Bray, Berkshire.

Princess Diana, One Day One Dress: 14th March 1991, RAF Scampton

The Princess of Wales meets families of both British and American servicemen and women serving in the Gulf during a visit to the Royal Air Force base at Scampton on March 14th 1991. She wears a navy dress with a pinstripe skirt in satinized wool by Catherine Walker. The dress has an oversized white collar and big pearly buttons at the front and cuffs.

Double wool crepe pink “Alice” knee length dress with pleated skirt, fitted bodice with concealed off center closure and inset waistband. It is by Emilia Wickstead.

I love the colour of this dress and it is chic and pretty.

1- Kate wore it on 18th May 2012 to attend the Queen’s Sovereigns’ Luncheon at Windsor Castle.
