Princess Diana, One Day One Dress: 28th October 1981, West and Mid Wales

The Prince and Princess of Wales had to endure heavy rain during a visit to St David’s and Carmarthen, Wales, in 1981. The Princess wears a  camel-coloured tweed wrapover coat by Caroline Charles with a white ruffled silk blouse and a velvet feathered skullcap with a fine dotted face veil by John Boyd.

  1. I have been following your site for quite a while. I want to thank you for the beautiful pictures of Princess Diana and Duchess Catherine. It’s great fun to see the pictures and I’m excited every time what’s new. May I know how did you refer your pictures. I have long been an admirer of the Princess of Wales and always looking for the best pictures in HQ. Please carry on! Thank you very much!!!

    • Thank you so much for the nice words Tina, I love beautiful clothes linked to Diana and now Kate and I have been an admirer of Princess Diana for a long time. I kept notes taken from books and from the internet about the different outings of Diana and what she wore on each occasion and I am now happy to share with others 🙂

    • Hello, all the pictures of Diana on this blog come from different sources: internet, books and magazines that I did scan. However I would’t remember where each photo of this post specifically come from 🙂
