After officially opening Callard and Browser’s new sweet factory near Bridgend, Diana then toured the plant in Waterton, Wales. The Princess is then pregnant with Prince Harry and wears a Jan Van Velden red wool crepe coat over a striped red and white dress by the same designer.
Diana wore this peach faconne silk tunic and skirt by Jan Van Velden during and after her pregnancy, here at Ascot on 20th June 1984 during her second pregnancy. She told the designer his skirts were the most comfortable she had ever worn. The loose blouson top has a high neckline with a tie. White accessories and a large hat by Frederick Fox complete the ensemble.
