When Diana visited on 4th November 1989 the Sitanala Hospital 15 miles from Jakarta, the Indonesian capital, she brought her sympathetic brand of comfort to patients suffering from leprosy. The Princess tried to keep as cool as possible by wearing a light-weight silk dress by Catherine Walker. The pale blue dress was fastened at the front with large gilt buttons and has a soft box pleat falling at the front of the skirt.

Princess Diana, One Day One Dress: 7th November 1989, Hong Kong

For a visit to a youth branch of the Red Cross in Hong Kong on 7th November 1989, the Princess shows off a new suit by Catherine Walker. The two-piece suit consists of a long silk jacket in primrose yellow with navy lapels and cuffs. The navy skirt is cut just above the knees.
