The Princess of Wales flew to Geneva for meetings with the Red Cross and Red Crescent societies as a member of their new advisory commission. She is seen leaving a meeting in Geneva on 27 May 1994. For this occasion the Princess wears a striped grey business-like jacket and skirt by Catherine Walker with a white silk blouse.
On 3 June 1994 the Princess of Wales attends a ceremony in Green Park, central London for the unveiling of a memorial to the Canadian forces who took part in both World Wars. The Princess wear a simple long short-sleeved lilac jacket, with matching skirt, in wool gabardine. She also wears an oversize hat featuring a black net and red-and-black insect-like decoration.
