Duchess Kate: sunshine yellow dress by Jenny Packham

Sunshine yelllow dress with floral lace applique all over. The dress features a fitted bodice with princess seaming that is accentuated by white piping and a set-in waistband with box pleats to give volume to the skirt.

This dress is beautifuly tailored but the colour and applique are a bit overwhelming in my opinion.

1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore this dress on 20th July 2017 at the German Cancer Research Centre in Heidelberg, Germany.

It is a nice piece by Catherine Walker but I find it a bit aging for the Duchess of Cambridge.

This is a fabulous combo, so delicate and feminine. I particurlarly like the skirt with it’s ethereal effect, it is absolutely exquisite.

1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore the top and skirt on 11th April 2016 to attend a birthday party for Her Majesty the Queen at the residence of the British High Commissioner in New Delhi, India.
