This is a lovely dress, I am just not too sure about the frayed look. But Kate wore it perfectly.

This is the “Sophia” Viscontibloom navy and burgundy silk-crepe shift dress with white, blue and pink floral print. It has a back vent is fully lined and has a concealed zip fastening along the back. It is by the Canadian designer Erdem.


This is a nice enough dress without being spectacular.

1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore this dress on 22nd April 2013 to visit to the Willows Primary School in Wythenshawe, Manchester when she was pregnant with Prince George.

Duchess Kate: “Ami” burgundy coat by L.K. Bennett

Sharp tailored wool and nylon blend burgundy coat with military inspired shoulder epaulettes, high fastened collar and buckled waist. It is by L.K. Bennett.

This coat has a beautiful colour and creates a sleek silhouette to the Duchess, the collar is maybe a bit severe looking.

This dress looks nice on the Duchess especially with a black belt instead of the original one, very regal and feminine.

Duchess Kate: Wool aubergine coat

Wool aubergine straight collarless coat with a high neck made by an independent dressmaker.


It is a very flattering coat both in the colour and the cut. It also looks very soft.

1- The Duchess wore it for the first time on 25th December 2011 at Sandringham for the Christmas service.
