Duchess Kate: Baby blue double wool crepe coatdress by Emilia Wickstead

This is a classic Kate look similar to previous coatdresses worn by the Duchess of Cambridge.

1- Kate wore the coatdress on 11th May 2017 during events celebrating the 1867 Treaty of London in Luxembourg.

Bespoke pale blue silk blend, full skirted summer sleeveless dress with an empire line design. It is based on the “CZ dress” which was created in honour of famed socialite and style icon, CZ Guest. From the New Zealand-born and London-based designer Emilia Wickstead.


It is a nice creation with simple and pure lines.

1- Kate wore this dress on 24th April 2013 for the Art Room charity reception at the National Portrait Gallery in London when she was pregnant with Prince George.

Duchess Kate: golden yellow coat dress by Emilia Wickstead

Custom-made yellow-gold raffia fabric dress coat from the spring/summer 2012 collection of Emilia Wickstead. It has a fitted bodice, a seamed waistline, pick stitch detailing and a full skirt.


1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore this coat dress on 5th July 2012 to attend a service in Edinburgh when Prince William was installed as Knight of the Thistle.

2- Kate wore the coat dress again on 14th April 2016 when arriving in the Himalayan nation of Bhutan.

Duchess Kate: ivory wool-crepe midi dress by Emilia Wickstead

Ivory wool-crepe midi dress featuring two faux breast pockets, two front slit pockets, a full skirt, concealed button and zip fastening at the back and silk lining. It is by Emilia Wickstead.


I like the colour and material of the dress, I love the shape of the skirt but I really dislike the faux breast pockets.

1- Kate wore this dress on 11th April 2016 during a visit to Mumbai and Delhi, India.

Duchess Kate: turquoise blue pleated dress by Emilia Wickstead

Turquoise blue wool crepe dress with square neckline, long sleeves, tailored top with concealed off centre closure and knee-length pleat skirt. By Emilia Wickstead.


It is a very pretty and feminine dress. I however prefer the pink version of the dress that the Duchess also wore as I love the powder pink colour.

1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore the turquoise dress on 13th April 2014 during a visit to Dunedin, New Zealand.

Duchess Kate: light pink “Alice” dress by Emilia Wickstead

Double wool crepe pink “Alice” knee length dress with pleated skirt, fitted bodice with concealed off center closure and inset waistband. It is by Emilia Wickstead.

I love the colour of this dress and it is chic and pretty.

1- Kate wore it on 18th May 2012 to attend the Queen’s Sovereigns’ Luncheon at Windsor Castle.

Duchess Kate: Deep green coat dress by Emilia Wickstead

It is a deep green coat dress by Emilia Wickstead. The top of the coat is fitted  to the waist that flares into a full skirt.


This is a beautiful coat, the colour is very nice and Kate wears it perfectly.

1) The Duchess of Cambridge wore the coat dress on  17th March 2012 for the St Patrick’s Day military parade at Mons Barracks in Aldershot, Hampshire. She wore it with a black leather belt.

2 – Kate wore it again for the same event the following year on 17th March 2013. This time she wore it without the belt as she was five months pregnant with Prince George.
