The version worn by the Duchess has long sleeves and pleats at the neck. I love this dress, it is very chic and I adoooore the colour!

Duchess Kate: “Kensington” dress by Catherine Walker

The “Kensington” grey knee-length dress by Catherine Walker featuring capped-sleeved sleeves, princess seaming and a deep “V” on the back with sharply angled lapels.

I like this dress it is very elegant with beautiful details and the fabric is gorgeous.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore this dress on 2nd July 2011 in Ottawa, Canada for a tree-planting ceremony at Rideau Hall followed by a reception at the Canadian War Museum to meet veterans and war brides.

Duchess Kate: Alice Temperley black lace evening gown

This regal Alice Temperley dress is the Amoret lace gown and features black sheer French lace overlay with scallop trim over cream and a removable black silk belt.

It is a beautiful piece but looking slightly dull in my opinion.

1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore the Temperley Amoret dress with a black clutch bag on 8th January 2012 to attend the UK Premiere of War Horse in London.

2- It was worn again on 8th November 2012 with a red hard case clutch for a dinner at the University of St Andrews where the Duchess studied with Prince William and where they met.

Duchess Kate: Ted Baker navy trench coat

This is a navy trench coat by Ted Baker worn by the Duchess both before and after her wedding with Prince William.

It is a double breasted button front navy cotton coat with a chelsea collar and belted waist. There is an inverted pleat at the back. Here are both the navy and the cream versions in these pictures.

Navy looks really good on the Duchess in my opinion and she looks both classy and fresh especially in the pictures taken in Canada below.

1- Kate Middleton wore it on 14th March 2008 in Cheltenham to attend the racecourse.

2- The trench coat made another appearance on 4th July 2011 when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge landed at Yellowknife, Prince Edward Island, Canada under the rain. It was worn over a dress and with navy stilettos.

3- The Duchess wore the same trench coat later that day 4th July 2011 at Charlottestown, Prince Edward Island, Canada to watch Prince William taking part to a helicopter demonstration. This time it was worn with navy jeans and wedges and also flat pumps for more comfort.

It is a classic look and it works well for the Duchess in my opinion except that it enhances her lack of hips.
