This dress from the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection is fashioned with embossed floral appliqués and black velvet piping around the neck and waistline. The dress falls just below the knee and has a fitted bodice, a plunging back neckline, slim three-quarter sleeves, a concealed back zipper and pencil shape skirt. It is a very pretty combination giving a lovely and youthful look. Navy is a very nice colour on Kate.

I like the cut of the shirt dress and again the Duchess wears it perfectly but I am a fan of the colour, a bit dull in my opinion.

1- Kate wore it for the first time on 21st February 2012 to visit a school in Oxford where one of the charities she supports runs classes for children with behavioural problems.
