This is a pretty dress made of a very beautiful fabric.

1- Kate wore this dress on 3rd July 2017 to attend a tennis game at Wimbledon.

The dress has some nice details and a pretty pattern but I am not too keen on the gathered front bib.

Duchess Kate: Black and tiny white polka dot suit

Classic tailored black and tiny white polka dot print suit. The suit consists of a short fitted jacket featuring flap pockets, fabric covered buttons and black piping along the collar and pockets and a knee-length pencil skirt. Designer unknown.

This is a pretty dress but there is nothing extraordinary about it.

Duchess Kate: “Mary Illusion dot dress” by Saloni

The “Mary Illusion dot dress” features an illusion plunging neckline with a high ruffled neck, sheer long sleeves with button cuffs at the wrists and a floor length column silhouette. It is made of navy rayon and silk covered with velvet dots. It is by the Indian designer Saloni.

I don’t really like this look on the Duchess as she doesn’t look modern enough in it, even though the dress looks beautiful when presented on the online store.

Princess Diana, One Day One Dress: 8th June 1986, polo, Smiths lawn, Windsor

During a polo match at Smiths Lawn, Windsor Great Park in June 1986 the Princess recreates the rock and roll look of the fifties with ankle polka dots socks with red high heels to match her polka dot pleated skirt and “sloppy joe” sweater. The co-ordinating ensemble is from the German fashion house, Mondi that Diana bought herself at Harrods.
