Duchess Kate: bespoke grey wool dress by Catherine Walker

Bespoke fit and flare winter dress made of grey wool featuring box pleats, a contrasting pointed black collar, long sleeves and a buckle belt in the same fabric as the coat dress. By Catherine Walker.

1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore this beautiful coat dress on 19th March 2019 for a visit with the Queen at King’s College in London and later for a solo engagement at the Foundling Museum.

The “Jude” jacket by L.K. Bennett beautifully tailored with a nipped waist, this teal wool jacket features kick-pleat detailing at the back and uses a soft wool feeling luxe to the touch.
The “Davina” dress by L.K. Bennett is beautifully tailored in a luxurious crepe. Elegantly designed, it’s chic, gentle ruching down one side adds to the already feminine silhouette. The asymmetrically cut neckline gives this dress a modern edge, while the capped sleeves are kept simple to ensure understated glamour and chic.


1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore the dress and jacket together on 8th March 2012 in London as she joined the Queen on first day of Diamond Jubilee tour. The jacket was cinched with a black leather belt and the Duchess wore a black fascinator to complete the look.

2- The Duchess of Cambridge wore the dress and jacket again on 9th December 2015 to attend a charity fundraiser on the trading floor in London.
