The Princess of Wales visited Wales on 16 November 1993 to carry out a series of engagements in Carmarthen including a visit at the Teen Challenge in Gorslas where she visited a crafs workshop and met staff and students. Diana was wearing a double-breasted green tweed wool suit with green velvet trim along the lapels, the sleeves and the pockets and a pencil skirt. The jacket features self covered velvet buttons.
Double-breasted “Turpin” tweed coat in brown and cream check with flecks of orange. It features an oversized stand collar with small lapels, flap pockets and gold-buttoned epaulettes and cuffs. There is a double row of gold buttons at the front. By the British brand Moloh.
This is not the type of coats that I would buy but I think it looks gorgeous on Kate, the shape and colours really suit her.

1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore it on 1st March 2012 to pay a visit with the Queen and the Duchess of Cornwall to Fortnum and Mason, the famous grocer on Piccadilly.
2- The Duchess wore it again on 13th June 2012 for a Diamond Jubilee visit to Nottingham with the Queen and the Duke of Cambridge.
3- The coat dress made another apparition on 28th March 2014 when the Duchess attended the wedding of friends Lucy Meade and Charlie Budgett in Marshfield, Gloucestershire accompanied by the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
4- The coat was worn again on 18th March 2016 for the opening of EACH charity shop in Norfolk.
The Prince and Princess of Wales had to endure heavy rain during a visit to St David’s and Carmarthen, Wales, in 1981. The Princess wears a camel-coloured tweed wrapover coat by Caroline Charles with a white ruffled silk blouse and a velvet feathered skullcap with a fine dotted face veil by John Boyd.
