Duchess Kate: dark blue striped tweed coat dress by Chanel

This is a lovely coat dress, very refined and elegant.

Duchess Kate: black sleeveless tea-length dress by Alexander McQueen

Bespoke black sleeveless tweed boucle dress featuring a deep V neck, a light fraying at the edges carried over into the diamond-like motif on the dress, and a bow detail leather belt. By Alexander McQueen.

This is a nice cocktail dress.

1- Kate wore the dress on 17th March 2017 at the British Embassy  in Paris to launch Les Voisins – The Neighbours – a year-long celebration of UK-French links.

Duchess Kate: “Turpin” brown tweed coat by Moloh

Double-breasted “Turpin” tweed coat in brown and cream check with flecks of orange. It features an oversized stand collar with small lapels, flap pockets and gold-buttoned epaulettes and cuffs. There is a double row of gold buttons at the front. By the British brand Moloh.


This is not the type of coats that I would buy but I think it looks gorgeous on Kate, the shape and colours really suit her.

Duchess Kate: boucle blue coat dress by Missoni

Cornflower blue tweed coat dress by M Missoni with blue braided trim at the front and at the neckline.


1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore it on 1st March 2012 to pay a visit with the Queen and the Duchess of Cornwall to Fortnum and Mason, the famous grocer on Piccadilly.

3- The coat dress made another apparition on 28th March 2014 when the Duchess attended the wedding of friends Lucy Meade and Charlie Budgett in Marshfield, Gloucestershire accompanied by the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

4- The coat was worn again on 18th March 2016 for the opening of EACH charity shop in Norfolk.

Duchess Kate: purple brown wool suit by Michael Kors

Purple brown wool suit consisting of a four-buttons virgin wool plaid blazer with side pockets and a calf-length “trumpet” skirt. The suit is by Michael Kors.


This is a classic British suit with the twist of the long “trumpet” skirt instead of the pencil skirt. I find the skirt a bit too long on the Duchess given her age but it is nice to see her in a different look.

1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore this suit on 27th December 2015 to attend the Sunday Service St. Mary Magdalene Church, Sandringham.
