Duchess Kate: dusky pink wool coat by Joseph

Double-breasted dusky pink wool coat with side pockets, oversized collar, front on-seam pockets and tab detailing on the cuffs. It is by Joseph.

I like the design and colour of this coat. I think that the length is also nice. The buttons were moved during her pregnancy with George to give her more comfort, it is a pity that we can still see the indentation made by the buttons and they also seem slightly unaligned.

1- Kate Middleton was seen with this coat on 19th March 2007 while walking in London.

2- Kate was seen wearing it again on 31st January 2008 at the occasion of her mother Carole’s 53d birthday dinner in London.

3- Once a Duchess Kate wore it on 15th March 2013 to attend the Cheltenham races.

Duchess Kate: “Athena” wool jacquard coat in red stripe by Jonathan Saunders

This stripe wool jacquard “Athena” coat features a notched collar, single breast pocket, full-length sleeves, flap front pockets, and a single vent at back. It has single breasted button fastenings. 86% wool, 11% mohair, 3% polyamide. It is by Jonathan Saunders.

I personally don’t like this coat at all, I think it looks frumpy and old fashioned.

I like the cut of the shirt dress and again the Duchess wears it perfectly but I am a fan of the colour, a bit dull in my opinion.
