Traditional Green and Gold Shalwar Kameez made of chiffon adorned with Phulkari embroidery, which is “a craft and a pattern of geometrics prevalent in Chitral.”

1- The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge were in Pakistan and Kate wore this traditional clothing on 17th October 2019 when they visited the Badshahi Mosque, which is the most iconic Islamic site in Lahore, set in the heart of the walled city and later the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.

3- The waistcoat was worn again over her Chocolate Brown Utility Shirt Dress by Mint Velvet (the dress was maybe altered into a shirt) on 16th October 2019 in a remote Himalayan village in Pakistan for traditional dance and music and where the Duke and Duchess learned about the culture of Kalash people when they visited Bumburet in Chitral region.

2- Kate wore the waistcoat again with her white linen classic shirt by Jaeger on 15th April 2016 during a trek to the breathtaking Tiger’s Nest monastery in Paro Taktsang, Buthan.

1- The Duchess wore the tunic coat with the trousers on 15th October 2019 to meet the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi and his wife Samina at the Presidential Palace in Islamabad as well as the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in central Islamabad.

Duchess Kate: Traditional Blue Kurta and Scarf by Maheen Khan

The kurta is a long loose-fitting collarless shirt, with the style originating in India. The knee-length kurta worn by Kate is made of blue silk and features a vee-cut on the round neckline, wrist length loose sleeves and white embroidery on the front. and is paired with matching trousers, the salwar.
