Duchess Kate: White wool and silk-blend twill peplum coat by Alexander McQueen

White wool and silk-blend twill peplum coat. It features a V neckline, concealed button fastenings through double-breasted front, three-quarter sleeves and it kicks out at the waist into a rippling peplum that softly folds at the back. By Alexander McQueen.

The version worn by Kate doesn’t have the rippling peplum at the back and seems to be white and not ivory like the original coat on these pictures. It is a beautiful coat, very elegant and very nicely tailored.

1- Kate wore it on 17th July 2017 in Warsaw, Poland.

I can’t decide if I like this coat or if I don’t. It looks very regal and fitted for a Princess but on the edge of being a bit too much. I would however say that it is a hit on the Duchess, the colour is delightful.
