Duchess Kate: Gold Brocade Coat by Birger et Mikkelsen

It is a brocade fabric coat with a subtle gold paisley trimmed with champagne colour net. It is long sleeved with a single breasted, off-centre, three button fastening. It also has two flap pockets. The lining is a soft grey colour. By Birger et Mikkelsen

Kate wore it both before and after her wedding. I like the colour and the fabric of the coat however it looks a little bit too big on the Duchess.

Duchess Kate: ‘Marwood’ Color-block Wool-Crepe Dress by Roksanda

‘Marwood’ color-block wool-crepe dress in coral, blue and pastel-pink. It features a back vent, a zip fastening at the back and is cut for a close fit. By the Serbian fashion designer based in London Roksanda.

I love this dress it is absolutely gorgeous and it is a shape that Kate can easily wear. The colours are beautiful, the color-blocking is perfect. Kate’s dress has been altered from the original: the coral band is slimmer, the dress is shorter and the zipper on Kate’s dress runs from the neckline to the hem and therefore the back vent is gone.

1- The Duchess of Cambridge wore it on 12th June 2016 at the Queen’s 90th birthday lunch at The Mall in London.

Bespoke wool crepe pastel blue and white lace coat dress. It features intricate embroidered details and white lace appliqué, a V-neck and a zipper fastening at the front. By Catherine Walker.

It is a nice piece by Catherine Walker but I find it a bit aging for the Duchess of Cambridge.
